Zucchetti debuts at WTM London

Cutting-edge booking technologies for the hotel industry at the Zucchetti Stand TT210… for three days dedicated to innovation of the travel concept, with Made in Italy certification.

Ideas Arrive Here. This is the slogan with which the 40th edition of WTM (World Travel Market), one of the most important international events on travel and tourism, presents itself to the world.

An extraordinary event which, from November 4 to 6, will bring thousands of professionals and visitors to London and, with them, the best ideas for the travel industry over the next five years.

Zucchetti, the leading Italian software house with more than 350,000 clients worldwide and with offices in eleven different countries, will participate this year for the first time in the WTM International Travel Trade Show with innovative solutions for hotels and hotel chains, for agile and smart management of online bookings and everything related to the IT side of the "hospitality" universe.

With the strategic intelligence that characterizes it, a number of years ago, Zucchetti decided to extend its offer to the hospitality and hotel industry, sectors in which, at a national level, it is the undisputed leader, and in which it is also investing heavily abroad.

Simple Booking and Vertical Booking are the products that the Zucchetti Group will present at WTM. Two complete solutions for the management of hotel and chain reservations, that provide control over the website of the hotel (direct reservations) but also over all other booking channels, and that ensure advanced marketing tools for revenue optimization.

Zucchetti decided to invest in these solutions because the number of people, both nationally and internationally, who book their travel online is constantly growing. According to SMC's 2019 Travel Trend Report, online travel sales in Europe accounted for 50.3% of total sales in 2018. Hotels can therefore no longer do without a significant digital presence in order to make themselves visible on the market and to be easily found by consumers.

“Precisely in the light of this trend, we decided to strengthen our Simple Booking solution, which in fact combines: a direct online booking system and software for selling rooms, also through the major Online Travel Agencies, a very useful multilingual and multi-currency support and perfect integration with the main Social Media platforms.” Says Duccio Innocenti, Simple Booking General Manager.

“Given the incredible dynamism of the tourism industry, this year we decided to make all the main features of our Vertical Booking solution available directly from an application: from price, availability and restrictions management to reporting, all in one app” – says Christian Lepom, Vertical Booking Chief Operating Officer -  “In this way, our hotelier clients can keep their entire activity under control, even on the move.”
