Bahrain also chooses Zucchetti Access Control system for the Gulf Cup of nations 2013

The Gulf Cup of Nations is a football tournament held every two years reserved to the national football teams of the Persian Gulf, i.e. Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Yemen.
The tournament will be held in January 2013 in Bahrain and the two stadiums that will host the football matches, The National Stadium and the Khalifa Sport City, will be equipped with cutting-edge access control systems by Zucchetti.

As usual, Zucchetti was awarded the project in cooperation with the Greek partner, Tickethour, in charge with the ticketing. 'We have been working for years with Tickethour - Bruno Morini, CEO of Zucchetti Group, mentions - in order to guarantee our clients a complete and reliable ticketing and access control solution and that is why our systems are already successfully used by various stadiums abroad, especially in the Middle East countries.
For the Gulf Cup of Nations, which will be held between the 5th and the 18th of January 2013, our objective is to install our solutions by December, in order to assure to the organising committee all the necessary time to test the system before the beginning of the event'.
For this project Zucchetti will use the new terminals from the 'Guardian' line: 'It is an intelligent device that keeps track of the lists of users to whom the access was authorized or denied in a certain sector of the stadium - points out Marco Marchetti, Zucchetti BU Security and Automation Manager - therefore even in case of no connection with the central system, the 'Guardian' terminal is able to distinguish whether the entrance ticket is valid or not.
The reader is fitted with two 32 bit colour displays, one for the user and the other for the steward. The user display clearly and immediately informs the fan whether the entrance is active or not and whether his/her pass is valid or not, granting or not the passage'.
The Guardian and all the other Zucchetti solutions for stadium security and for the management of sports facilities will also be presented by Zucchetti at the Sports Days Fair 2012, within the first professional sports facilities show.
Sports Days will be held between the 26th and the 28th of October within the Rimini Trade Fair and the Zucchetti staff will be at the disposal of all visitors at the Pavilion 01 Stand 002.
