At the German trade fair dedicated to hospitality establishments worldwide, the first Italian software company will showcase state-of-the-art management solutions, revenue management systems, reservation management tools, marketing automation, business intelligence & analytics, vertical solutions for food & beverage, and fitness/wellness center management. Additionally, they will present the innovative integration project with Alexa, Amazon's virtual assistant, for managing service requests between clients and staff.
ITB Berlin is the trade fair dedicated to the hospitality industry, taking place from March 5 to 7, 2024, at the Berlin ExpoCenter City in the German capital. The event has become a benchmark for industry professionals worldwide, surpassing 90,000 attendees in the last edition.
Zucchetti, the Italian leader in software, aims to bring the benefits of technological innovation to all businesses, regardless of market or size. Particularly in the field of hospitality, Zucchetti has developed a range of digital solutions that, in terms of quality and completeness, have exceeded national boundaries and gained appreciation in various countries worldwide. This includes Germany, where Zucchetti also has multiple direct subsidiaries employing approximately 200 people to meet the diverse application needs of its customers.
The offering model that Zucchetti will present at ITB Berlin will be focused on the Cloud and a new customer experience capable of harnessing all the opportunities provided by digital technologies, both from the perspective of accommodation facilities and their guests. This includes everything from reservation and room management to organizing the stay and on-site additional services, up to payment processes and the programming of incentive and loyalty systems.
"The management of a hotel today can be compared to that of a complex business, where success depends on the optimization of management and organizational processes, customer satisfaction, and, of course, actual returns in terms of profitability against investments made," states Angelo Guaragni, CEO of Zucchetti Hospitality. "To achieve these results, digitalization is the enabling factor, and Zucchetti is the ideal technological partner because it provides all the application solutions that accommodation facilities need to effectively manage their operations.
I am referring to Management Solutions (PMS), Booking Engines, and Channel Managers for reservation management, as well as tools such as Marketing Automation, CRM, Business Intelligence & Analytics, and Revenue Management Systems. These systems, including artificial intelligence algorithms, are used to determine the best rates to apply to hotel rooms."
Furthermore, to facilitate interaction between clients and staff, we have implemented the Alexa Smart Properties for Hospitality project. It's a digital platform that allows hotels to manage and customize Alexa skills, enabling guests to directly request information about the facility's services from Amazon's virtual assistant. This helps streamline front-office tasks and provides an innovative experience for guests. Another aspect not to be overlooked is our extensive presence on the territory, with Zucchetti offices in 15 countries, including Germany, and business partners operating worldwide."
