Bilbao, May 31, 2021 - Last Friday took place the 1st Isaac Peral National Research, Science and Innovation Awards Gala, organized by AEDEEC, the European Association for Economics and Competitiveness. The aim of these awards is to distinguish those individuals and entities that have excelled in making innovation an indispensable element in the development of their professional strategy and business growth, acting as a lever for innovation and competitiveness.
Important researchers, entrepreneurs and professionals from different fields gathered at this gala, which recognized their work as an engine for economic and social progress in our country. The AEDEEC, an association chaired by Mr. José Luis Barceló, president of the newspaper El Mundo Financiero, wants to recognize with these awards the effort and dedication of a select group of professionals from different fields that reflect the business plurality of our country.
At the awards ceremony, held at The Westin Palace Hotel in Madrid and hosted by presenters Ana García Lozano and Santi Acosta, Zucchetti Spain was recognized with the Award for Innovation in Software Development.

Within the framework of the 1st Isaac Peral National Research, Science and Innovation Awards, the AEDEEC has recognized Zucchetti Spain's sustained innovation strategy since the beginning of its trajectory, highlighting its commitment to the development of cutting-edge software solutions that facilitate the digital transformation of companies. With the Award for Innovation in Software Development, the AEDEEC has sought to highlight the company's role as a technological ally of companies in their digitization process and driver of change, using innovation as one of the most effective tools to anticipate changes in a market that is evolving at a dizzying pace and to become more competitive.
Solmicro ERP 6, the latest version of its management software recently launched by the manufacturer, has played a decisive role in achieving this award. The AEDEEC thus recognizes the important R&D&I efforts made by Zucchetti Spain in recent years in the development of this solution, which responds to the new management needs of companies.
Justino Martínez, Managing Director of Zucchetti Spain, collected the award at the company's headquarters, a moment that was rebroadcast during the award ceremony, during which he thanked the European Association for Economy and Competitiveness for this award, and acknowledged the work, commitment and dedication of all the professionals that make up the Zucchetti project in Spain.
