Chapp Solutions Announces Updates
Chapp Solutions, part of the Zucchetti group, has unveiled its August 2024 update, presenting a series of new features and improvements for its clients. This latest set of updates aims to enhance operational efficiency, address current needs, and introduce innovative solutions to streamline processes.

New features for City Tax management
- From now on it will be possible to define a limit amount for the fees
- calculated as a percentage of the cost per person per night.

Send City Taxes through confirmation e-mail
-An option in the PMS that allows users to decide whether city taxes should be automatically included in the reservation confirmation email. Additionally, a checkbox has been added to include or exclude the city tax in the reservation confirmation email or when resending the confirmation.

Permissions for viewing Credit Tab in companies and agencies

  • Users with permission to view the credit tab and who have access to all hotels can view and edit all credit groups and see credit consumption details for each hotel. 
  • Users with permission to view the credit tab but restricted access (not having access to all hotels) can only view credit groups that include hotels they have access to and can see credit usage for those specific hotels. They cannot edit credit groups or create new ones beyond their accessible hotels.
  • Users with creation rights can establish credit groups but are limited to adding only the hotels they have access to.

Statistics Module Reorganization
- A new categorization of reports is now available, with user permissions taken into account. Work is also being finalized on adding documentation to each report.

Housekeeping App
-You can now view the quantities of supplements or extras available in the room.

Report Adaptations
-The "Detailed Production File by Statistical Type and Subtype" report has been adapted to accommodate split VAT.

Client synchronization across environments (API):
To reduce errors during client synchronization between databases of different countries, only the document number and country will be considered. The document type, which previously caused the most errors during the pre-check-in process, has been removed from the synchronization criteria.
