This presentation was organized by Professor Julia Krebs. Sales-employee Johanna Holzknecht told the students more about revenue management as well as RateBoard as a company. RateBoard is a revolutionized system for rate suggestions. It atomizes and integrates time-consuming processes like forecasting, pricing and rate maintenance of hotels, simplified. The software is based on an algorithm which was developed by the data science team of RateBoard. The following data is taken into consideration: historical and actual booking situation, competitors, market demand, guest reviews, events and holidays.
