The new contactless journey of hotel guests

In these pandemic times, offering to the guests digital tools to carry out check-in and check-out will become an integral part of the hotel experience.

Scrigno PMS offers some touchless digital services to minimize physical contact: hoteliers use a digital check-in process to collect and save guest data electronically prior to the arrival, and guests fill out a digital registration form instead of signing a paper document on site.

Pre check-in online and tablet self-sign for privacy consents
This procedure allows the hotel guest to check in online and accept the Privacy Policy in advance, avoiding the queues at the reception. It helps to minimize physical interaction as guests electronically submit their data in advance, without the need to use pen and paper at the reception.

Web check out
Thanks to the interface with Nexi, a leading company for digital payments, the web check-out procedure allows guests to check their room bill from their own device - through a webapp - and to pay by credit card in a secure way.

Safety is also important for the hotel staff: Scrigno offers the housekeeping and maintenance App which manages the staff, such as housekeepers and maintenance workers, and charge the mini bar consumption to the room bill.

This is what hoteliers can do:

Manage housekeeping
Based on the features of each room, the system calculates the time required for cleaning, and the number of housekeepers required, based on the occupancy of the hotel. Using the supplied Android smartphone, the staff on duty displays the rooms to be cleaned, updates the status and reports any faults found.

Manage maintenance
The system allows you to assign maintenance works after setting up the sectors (rooms, common areas, meeting rooms) and the required staff. The technician checks the work to be done from the PDA provided, and at the end inserts the details and timing of the intervention.

Charge the consumption of the mini-bar to the room bill
From the same App you can also directly charge the consumption of the minibar to the room bill.

Manage the reporting of any customer complaints or lost objects found in the room.
The App allows you to attach images of lost items in the room, and update the PMS in real-time.
