Zucchetti adds another prestigious prize to its already rich collection. The leading Italian software house has in fact received the UK-Italy Business Award by the Department for International Trade (DIT). The recognition is awarded every year to the most dynamic and innovative Italian companies that invested in the United Kingdom.

The main reason was the acquisition of a controlling stake in the English DA Data System, developer and owner of KonaKart software, a java B2C and B2C e-commerce platform targeting a wide range of international clients of big dimensions, allowing the organization to serve prestigious customers, from Leroy Merlin to Oxford University Press, from Saudi Telecom to Sky New Zealand.

When receiving the award, Enrico Itri, General Manager of Zucchetti’s “Worldwide Business Operations” unit, explained the reasons behind the investment: “Zucchetti’s expansion on the international market is possible also thanks to agreements like the one with DS Data System, since it allows us to enrich our software offer that is mainly dedicated to the European market, with a particular focus on Great Britain”.
