What shall I write?
Personal Information

Just like when introducing yourself to someone, the first information to include in your resume is personal details: first name, last name, date of birth, residence/current address, and contact information (email and phone), as well as educational background and work experience .

A photo is not mandatory, but if you choose to include one, it is important that it looks professional.

Educational background and work experience

The goal of the resume is to inform the company about your educational and professional experiences. Therefore, it is important to include your degree, the school or university you attended, and your diploma or graduation grade.


For your work experience, in addition to the role, it is essential to include the name of the company you worked for, the start and end dates of each position, highlighting the main activities and responsibilities held. It is always best to list your experiences in chronological order, starting with the most recent and working backward.

Everyone can encounter obstacles along their path that may have slowed down their educational or professional journey. However, these experiences often contribute to personal growth, which is why it is helpful to explain and provide context for any gaps in your resume, either directly in the CV or in a cover letter.

Professional and personal skills

During your educational and professional experiences, you will have undoubtedly developed skills that set you apart: these include proficiency in foreign languages, knowledge of specific management systems, IT skills, and more.
Remember to include your skills and abilities, specifying any certifications you have obtained.

Non-work experiences and hobbies

Volunteer work and other non-work-related interests are details you can mention in your resume. However, be mindful: it is always better to highlight experiences that are relevant to the position you are applying for.


Always keep your resume up to date, and before sending it, make sure to review it carefully!

  • Being imprecise and too wordy .

  • Making grammatical or typing errors .

Before starting the interview, it’s essential to check all the equipment you’ll be using, particularly:
  • Make sure you have received the link to the platform through which you will connect for the meeting.
  • Check that the network connection is working properly.
  • Check the audio and video settings on your computer.
  • If you will be using your phone for the video call, find a stable surface to place it on and adjust the optimal position to frame your face.
