Zucchetti Spain, a leading IT solutions provider, has appointed Jaime Rodríguez as its new CEO. He takes over from Justino Martínez, who held the position and is an industrial engineer and co-founder of Solmicro. This change comes after more than three decades of expansion, during which Zucchetti Spain has cemented its position as a strategic partner in the digital transformation of businesses.

A Growth Journey Fueled by Innovation
Since Solmicro was acquired by the Italian Group Zucchetti in 2016, the software solutions provider has achieved significant economic and strategic milestones. Annual revenue has grown from €3.6 million to €24.5 million, positioning Zucchetti as a leader in the ERP and HR software market.
This growth has been accompanied by a strong commitment to employment, with the workforce expanding from 50 to over 300 professionals. Additionally, the company has significantly strengthened its Distribution Channel, now boasting over 300 certified partners across Spain.
Zucchetti Spain has consistently grown its market share, adding a wide range of successful software solutions to its portfolio. The company has acquired seven successful software manufacturers, each with a strong track record in Spain’s national market. After acquiring Solmicro in 2016, Zucchetti Spain expanded its presence with the acquisitions of IDS and i68 in 2018, followed by Arión in 2020, Sarce and Seteco in 2021, Altai Soft in 2022, and iArchiva in 2024.

Jaime Rodríguez: A Proven Leader in the IT Sector
Jaime Rodríguez, a co-founder of Solmicro, has spent his entire career in the IT sector. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Bilbao. Over the past thirty years, he has held various roles at Solmicro, including Project Director, Commercial Director, and Director of the Channel and Product Area. For the last six years, he has served as Director of the HR Software Division at Zucchetti Spain.
Rodríguez has played a crucial role in expanding the company’s Distribution Channel, coordinating teams in this key area and contributing to the company’s growth over the last two decades. Since 2020, he has led Zucchetti Spain’s HR Software Division, focusing on the international solutions offered by the Zucchetti Group, which now account for 20% of the company’s revenue.
Starting in 2026, Rodríguez will succeed Justino Martínez as CEO. His extensive experience and forward-thinking vision are expected to drive Zucchetti Spain’s next phase of growth in an era where technological advancements will shape the future of business.
