Mago 5.2 New Features and Enhancements
The new version of Mago 5.2 introduces numerous features that enhance business management across all areas: from accounting to logistics, from purchasing to production, up to integration with external systems and internationalization. Here’s what’s new in detail.
Accounting: greater accuracy
One of the most important updates concerns Bank Reconciliation: it is now possible to import account statements from CSV, TXT, and XLS files, even in foreign currency, thanks to new settings in the templates. This allows for more precise management of reconciliation operations.
Logistics and WMS: efficiency and precision
The Warehouse Management System module continues to evolve to meet the needs of those managing complex warehouses. New features include: ability to select Goods Receipt lines for which to generate putaway transfer orders; advanced filters for preshipping to create more targeted picking transfer orders; immediate recognition of items and variants (size, color) via barcode; display of the description alongside the variant code in WMS Mobile; definition of the unit of measure for supplier-item combinations to reduce operational errors.
Purchasing and Stock Replenishment: smart automation
Purchasing management becomes easier thanks to new EDI module functions, which allow importing items, exporting purchase orders, and importing delivery notes to fulfill orders. With the new release, you can extract only orders not yet exported, further automating the process.
The Stock Replenishment procedure has been improved to adapt to different business needs: choose whether to order the finished product or its components (bill of materials) or ingredients (recipe); automatically generate supplier orders based on sales forecasts calculated from items sold during the same period in previous years.
eCommerce and Multichannel
With release 5.2, Mago integrates even better with eCommerce systems: you can enter the shipment tracking number directly in Mago and transfer it to Shopify, along with order progress statuses (preparation and fulfillment). This ensures customers receive real-time updates.
Zucchetti System Integrations
Mago strengthens its interaction with other Zucchetti systems.
With Infinity CRM, you can now send not only customers and suppliers from Mago but also contacts and potential suppliers.
Finally, the release introduces integration with Cyberplan for advanced planning: with the OpenMES module active, the connector enables immediate and transparent data exchange, sending reorder proposals back to Mago to manage production processes.
Production and Manufacturing
Other updates: separate numbering for actual and proposed orders; optimization of warehouse movements related to production; improvements in lot traceability; new Full visibility entity for Bills of Materials for more detailed control.
Internationalization
Mago confirms its international focus: support for European electronic invoicing for France, in addition to Romania (already available) and soon Poland and Germany.
A dedicated procedure for conversion to the Euro for Bulgaria starting January 1, 2026, allows updating all values to the new base currency while continuing to manage balances and fiscal reports in BGN for previous periods.
