Alnatura: All sales with one solution!

The organic food chain Alnatura has selected TCPOS to support the sale of a wide range of natural articles that include organic food, bakery products and drinks.

Beginning with the planned introduction of SAP Retail in 2014, the new POS systems will be installed in more than 80 stores belonging to the brand. The TCPOS solution manages all checkout processes in the store, the sales of the bakery department as well as purchases of drinks for in-store consumptions. Furthermore, the POS systems will integrate the Payback loyalty program to increase customer loyalty.

For about 20 years, Alnatura has been selling organic foods such as bread, cereals, sweet and savory snacks, dairy products and juices in more than 80 own stores in Germany and through a network of trading partners in Germany and abroad. To support its expansion with the help of TCPOS modern technologies, Alnatura plans to introduce SAP Retail enterprise-wide in 2014 and decided in a tender to implement new POS systems from TCPOS. The IT solution provider convinced Alnatura thanks to its wide set of standardized solution modules available within the system, with which processes can be implemented very quickly and information are be easily traced.
For Alnatura, TCPOS past experience in bakeries was particularly advantageous. The POS system offers the possibility to create shortcuts on the till for most frequently-sold products, setting links between articles and function keys. Alternatively it is possible to automatically organize the keys on the touch screen according to an alphabetic order. Each stores listing can be set individually by local managers with directly on the POS system.
"We have opted for the TCPOS solution to further optimize our processes and the drive growth of our company", explains Jochen Krüger, regional representative of Alnatura Production and Trade GmbH. "We consider the general experience of TCPOS in retail and hospitality as extremely beneficial especially

due to the multiple functions offered by the POS system. We expect significant progress for our markets
through effective and practical work with the new software".
"Retailers can distinguish themselves today thanks to POS systems that offer a wide range of
functionalities such as loyalty schemes and modern payment solutions - both of which lead to improve
customer loyalty and boost sales", says Dirk Schwindling, CEO of TCPOS Germany."We are pleased that
the Alnatura brand, a brand that is very popular among many consumers, trusts in our solution".
