Client Profile

Founded in 1872, Pirelli Group focuses on growing its business and creating value by developing high quality and high technology products and services with low environmental impact. In pursuing its objectives, Pirelli strives to combine financial profitability and social responsibility. Founded in 1960, Turk Pirelli Lastikleri A.S. was the first tire manufacturer in Turkey and one of the first international companies to believe in the industrial and economic potential of the country.

Software:

  • Access Control - XAtlas
  • SAP R/3 HR-PDC certified interface
  • Time & Attendance
  • Canteen Management
  • Parking Management

Hardware:

The most crucial requisites for the update and implementation of the new system in Pirelli were to install an anti-passback control on all the access points, a certified SAP connector to connect the Time Management system to their SAP HR application and to integrate T&A software with access control and canteen management. In addition, T&A readers had to be placed at every access point in the factory.

Pirelli chose the most satisfactory solution - proposed by Zucchetti Axess Turkish Partner ICS Ltd - based on XAtlas Software to manage access control, T&A for data collection and its certified SAP interface, Canteen and Parking Management.

Zucchetti Axess terminals installed more than 10 years ago have been replaced with recent SuperTRAX terminals, SuperMax+ panels and RFID2 readers, and the hardware infrastructure has been powered thanks to the new generation Controllers (Field Manager) managing all interactions among the applications

Mr Remzi Ejderoglu, IT Manager Turk Pirelli Lastikleri A.S

“I’ve been working at Pirelli for 25 years now. I am an Italian oriented businessman and I am convinced that Italian products ensure the same quality than German products – besides more competitive in pricing. This is why I made the decision to choose an Italian system for our company (Zucchetti Axess SpA), which is now running fine and could fully satisfy Pirelli requirements.
