Great expectations for the big football match on Wednesday, 27th May. Barcelona and Manchester United compete for the first place in Europe, in the Champions League Final, at the Olympic Stadium in Rome.
The Capital's Stadium will surely be completely packed; according to the English tabloids there are about 30,000 supporters of the "Red Devils" that will be at the Olympic Stadium and the same number of fans will come to support the Spanish team, along with a major Barcelona's fan, the Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero.
With its access control system, Zucchetti has automated most Italian stadiums, and will guarantee a secure access to the Olympic, for all spectators attending this event.
"Recently, Erasmo Iacovone Stadium in Taranto and Romeo Menti Stadium in Castellamare di Stabia have also chosen our solutions" declares Domenico Uggeri, Business Unit Security and Automation Manager - there are now 32 sports venues that have chosen our solution, for a total of 778,000 spectators that weekly pass through the 896 access gates managed by Zucchetti security control system.
The Olympic Stadium in Rome was the first Italian Stadium equipped with a complete access control system, in compliance with antiviolence laws. It also represents an undisputed success for Zucchetti Group, due to the levels of efficiency reached, as well as to the short time in which the project was accomplished."
As Gilberto Polledri, Zucchetti Security and Automation System Manager declares, the Champions League Final is only one of the many events hosted by the Italian sports venue: "Zucchetti Access Control System installed at the Olympic Stadium in Rome has already been successfully tested at events with intense visitor flow such as Vasco Rossi and Madonna's concerts.
Moreover, to increase security level and prevent ticket forgery, at the Champions League Final, all spectators will enter the stadium using a microprocessor RFID badge. Our technicians are ready to give all the necessary assistance on site, being a further guarantee for the organizers."
